Mike Ndudzo is the head the Industrial Development Corporation (IDC) which he has headed since 1991. On 26 July 2017, Ndudzo was named Zimbabwe's Auditor General.

Education

Ndudzo holds a Bachelor of Accountancy (Honours) degree and is a registered public accountant.[1]

Career

He was Zimbabwe’s first post-independence accountant general in the Ministry of Finance from 1986 to 1991. From 1991 Ndudzo was the head of the government parastatal the, Industrial Development Corporation (IDC).[1]

Parliament's bid to stop appointment

On July 27 , 2017 ,Zimbabwe’s Members of Parliament rejected the proposed appointment of Industrial Development Corporation boss Mike Ndudzo as Auditor General to replace the popular Mildred Chiri.MPs across the political divide told Finance Minister Patrick Chinamasa that Ndudzo was a failure in his current job where for 26 years he has presided over the vast, loss-making state-owned enterprise with interests spanning from car assembly, fertiliser, mining to textiles.
