Zimbabwe Warriors captain, Willard Katsande has highlighted that Malawi will not be easy opponents ahead of Sunday's crucial 2017 Africa Cup of Nations (Afcon) Group L qualifier at the National Sports Stadium. Katsande said that

"They are a huge threat; mathematically they are still in the running to finish as one of the best runners-up. So they will make it difficult for us and they might want to spoil our party. We are very much aware of what is at stake. We need to approach the game in a respectful manner, whereby we listen to the coach’s game plan and execute it on the field."

Malawi can still finish as one of the best placed runners-up and qualify for the tournament if they beat theWarriors and Swaziland in their last match in September.

The Warriors are scheduled to take on Uganda in an international friendly match at Rufaro Stadium this afternoon at 3pm.
