Local news publication, NewsDay is the most visited news website in Zimbabwe, according to Website traffic and mobile app analytics site, SimilarWeb. The news website was ahead of other local news publications such as DailyNews, The Herald and the Chronicle,
Said the publication:
This is the fourth time the website has been accorded the top rankings’ after scooping an award at the Zimbabwean website for 2015 at the inaugural Zimbabwe Digital Marketing Conference and Awards 2016 which followed the Highway Telkom Africa Most Innovative Newsroom Award in Grahamstown, South Africa, in 2013 in recognition of ground-breaking content strategies that included live blogging, audio and video publishing using moving screens.
