News:Passengers left stranded as transport operators protest against police
<vote /> Transport operators in Borrowdale/Hatcliffe, Ruwa,Mabvuku, Msasa and Epworth have downed their tools and parked their vehicles protesting against police. Sources have also confirmed that commuter omnibus operators are assaulting private vehicles carrying passengers from any pick up point.
Commuter omnibus operators in Mabvuku/Tafara and Ruwa were attempting to block Mutare road near Msasa with rocks but were crushed by ZRP support unit. Below is an image showing their attempts.
In Epworth, Combi drivers and conductors are demonstrating against too many roadblocks by Police. Police in Mabvuku were chased away by transport operators. The protests come after protests in Beitbridge last week.
