News:Police arrest 5 members of Johane Masowe Apostolic sect for beating a police officer

<vote /> A chief police superintendent was attacked and seriously injured by members of the Johane Masowe Apostolic sect in Mashonaland Central Province for allegedly trespassing their shrine over the weekend.

The police officer is believed to have visited his father near the shrine when the incident occurred. He sustained serious injuries and was taken to hospital for treatment. Police have since arrested five members from the apostolic sect in connection with the incident.
