<vote /> The tribunal set up to investigate suspended Prosecutor-General Johannes Tomana's suitability to remain in office has invited Transparency International Zimbabwe to submit a report on Tomana's criminal abuse of office. Said TIZ group chairperson Loughty Dube:

On August 30, 2016, a tribunal set up at the instigation of the JSC (Judiciary Service Commission) will sit to hear evidence that will decide on the suitability of Tomana to remain as Prosecutor-General, We have been requested to come and give evidence and we will go and testify because we believe we are being vindicated for the report we presented six years ago.

It is victory for TIZ today that finally and for the first time, the authorities are living up to their statutory and constitutional mandates by pursuing the investigations of a prominent public official such as the former Attorney-General (AG) on his alleged abuse of office, as well as his alleged abuse of office as Prosecutor-General,
