Obey Machipisi is a Zimbabwean actor, scriptwriter and a television personality who is based in South Africa. He is one of the scriptwriters of Generations, a South African soap opera.
Background
Obey was born on 15 February in Mutasa in Nyanga.[1] He went to Harare High in Mbare and then St Andrews High. From St Andrews, he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Media Studies.[2] He also has a Diploma in Film Acting and Screenwriting.
Career
Obey launched his career as an actor in South Africa featuring in soap operas such as Rythm City, Erfsondes, Generations, and Tshisa. He rose to stardom when he was part of an Ekasi story entitled The Boy Nextdoor, Season 3.[1] From then onwards, Obey has hogged the media's limelight. Obey is one of the scrip writers of Generations. He was wrote a scripts for Isibaya, Vat'n'Sit, Sound City, The Baobab Tree and Rhema Ministries.[2]
