Ritesh Anand is a Zimbabwean entrepreneur. He is the founder of Invictus Capital, which is an integrated financial services company with primary focus on Africa. The company consists of Invictus Capital, Invictus Security, Invictus Advisory and Invictus Investments

Education

Anand holds a BSc (Hons) Economics from the University of Warwick, and MSc in Strategic Management from the University of Derby. He has also completed the Executive Finance Programme at London Business School.[1]

Career

Ritesh Anand joined Wellcome Trust in 2002 as an Investment Officer with responsibility for its external long-only Equity Manager Programme. He later served as Senior Investment Officer for Public Equities, Head of Risk and Head of Africa and the Middle East at until 2010. Prior to his work experience at Wellcome trust he worked as a Fund Manager for First Mutual Asset Management in Zimbabwe from 1997 to 2001, where he was responsible for the development of the Unit Trust business and management of segregated pension funds.[2] Anand established Invictus Capital in 2010.[1]

He is a Non Executive Director at Zimbabwe Asset Management Company and the Managing Director at Invictus Capital.[2] Anand once served as a Non Executive Director of AfrAsia Zimbabwe Holdings Limited.[1] He has written articles for NewsDay and the Zimbabwe Independent under the title The Ritesh Anand Column.[3]
