United States  commits $265 000 funding for self help projects

The United States Embassy has committed  $265 000 in funding for self-projects across Zimbabwe.  The grants were part of the Ambassador’s Special Self-Help Fund of 2016.

United States Ambassador to Zimbabwe, Harry K. Thomas Jr said:

I am happy as we are gathered here to celebrate your commitment to changing lives, and your success in being selected to receive a US Embassy grant.

In 2016, the embassy’s grants office has proudly awarded a total of $265.000 in grants funding to diverse organizations working in nine provinces around the country.
