At the President’s 93rd birthday party celebrations in Matobo, some vendors praised the President for economic empowerment. Some said that the current state of things was not permanent and said vending was allowing them to survive. The thanked the President for holding his celebrations in Matabaleland saying it allowed them to sell their wares at the President’s birthday celebrations.
