Air Zim last submitted financial statements in 2009, currently working on 2010 statements

Troubled national airline Air Zimbabwe which is suffocating under a debt of $300 million, last submitted financial statements in 2009. This is despite the fact that the state owned company is obligated to sumbit this statements for audit every year. This was revealed in a report by Auditor General Mildred Chiri. The report alo says that the comnpany is currently working on preparing financial statements for the year 2010.
Part of the report reads:
Its accounts were not submitted for audit, again
FeedbackAir Zimbabwe and its subsidiaries’ audits in progress and being finalised are for the year 2010
The troubled airline has also been in the news foor the wrong reasons after it flew to South Africa with only three passengers.
