30 feared dead as SA-bound Proliner bus catches fire

At least 30 people are feared to have died when a Proliner bus which was heading to South Africa caught fire after being sided swiped by a haulage truck. The accident happened at Nyamatikiti River near Chaka and most of the victims were burnt beyond recognition.
The accident happened at around 8 pm last night. The bus was carrying over 60 passengers and according to eyewitnesses, at least 15 people escaped by jumping out through windows. Injured survivors were taken to Mvuma District Hospital and Driefontein Mission Hospital.
