Infighting stalls progress in Mujuru's party

Sources who spoke to NewsDay revealed that infighting in Joice Mujuru’s National People’s Party (NPP) has delayed the adoption of a logo or slogan for the party two months after Mujuru left Zimbabwe People First (ZimPF).

The party is yet to appoint a party spokesperson following the resignation of Jealousy Mawarire, leaving Mujuru’s spokesperson, Gift Nyandoro to serve in two positions. Sources in Mujuru’s party also accused her of rushing to sign a coalition deal with MDC-T leader, Morgan Tsvangirai before setting up substantive structures within the party.
