Dokora scoffs at critics of new curriculum

Minister of Primary and Secondary Education, Dr Lazarus Dokora has said that he will continue with the new education curriculum undeterred by the criticism he has been getting. He scoffed at the people criticising him on social media saying that they need to live in the real world. Speaking at the commissioning of a classroom block at Sarah Bata Senior School in Gweru on Wednesday Dokora said:
Even some of our students, who are always on social media, were saying we don’t want the curriculum. But we stay in a country and not on social media platforms and so we are not perturbed, but would carry on with the task.
The Minister has been criticised for the manner in which he came up with and implemented the new education curriculum.
