Gideon Gono to chair SEZ board which includes General Chiwenga's wife6 years ago
Former governor of the Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe, Gideon Gono has been appointed as the chair of the Special Economic Zones Board. The board was appointed by Obert Mpofu, the Minister of Macro-Economic Planning and Investment Promotion and will be responsible for the development of the Special Economic Zones. The other board members are Sithandile Ngwenya, a lawyer, former Confederation of Zimbabwe Industries president, Busisa Moyo, Godfrey Chanakira, Ozias Machaya Hove, Erasmus Gapara, Constance Zhanje, Edwin Zvandasara, Christopher Dube, Marry Chiwenga and Thando Madzvamuse. Marry is the wife of Commander of the Zimbabwe Defence Forces, General Constantino Chiwenga.
