11 people who were burnt beyond recognition in Mvurwi accident named

Mashonaland Central Civil Protection Unit chairperson Mr Cosmas Chiringa told ZBC News that the charred remains of 11 people who were burnt in an accident in Mvurwi were identified through DNA. He said that the remains have since been collected by family members from Mvurwi hospital mortuary for burial.
Below is the list of the people who perished in the accident:
- Tatenda Jasi (22) and Happiness Gode ( 31) both from Muzarabani
- Tendai Nehwangura (45) from Zimunya
- Musarakufa Mashona (40) from Zaka
- Pride Zenda (24) from Mvuma
- Cleopas Taodzera (41) from Mt Darwin
- Dist Wadzwanya from Mbire
- Everjoy Chokuda from Guruve
- Manatsa Mugoneka (30) from Mt Darwin
- Pedzisai Chaka (55) and Kenrod Zimbiti (31) from Mvurwi
