Kirsty Coventry Awarded Honorary Doctorate by Bindura University

Olympic Swimming champion Kirsty Coventry has been awarded an honorary PhD in Sports Science by the Bindura University of Science Education (BUSE). The doctorate was conferred on Kirsty by President Robert Mugabe, who is the chancellor of BUSE and all state universities at a graduation ceremony on Thursday. Kirsty was not able to make to the ceremony but was represented by her mother, Lyn Coventry.
