Mugabe nullifies Goba's appointment as Prosecutor General

Government cancelled the announcement of Advocate Ray Goba as Zimbabwe’s Prosecutor General.

The repeal is contained in general notice 642 of 2017 in an extraordinary government gazette published today and signed by the Chief Secretary to the President and Cabinet, Dr Misheck Sibanda.

General notice 493 published in an extraordinary government gazette dated 13^th of September this year had announced Advocate Goba’s appointment as Prosecutor General replacing Johannes Tomana who was removed for abuse of office.
