Zanu-PF Matabeleland South Recommends Expulsion of 15 Members Allegedly Aligned to Mnangagwa Faction
The ruling Zanu-PF party’s Matabeleland South Province has recommended the expulsion of 15 members. The fifteen stand accused of being part of the Team Lacoste Faction which is allegedly aligned to former Vice President Emmerson Mnangagwa. Mnangagwa was fired from the government yesterday for conduct ” inconsistent with his official responsibilities.” Mnangagwa was also said to have
…consistently and persistently exhibited traits of disloyalty, disrespect, deceitfulness and unreliability. He has also demonstrated little probity in the execution of his duties.
The fifteen Zanu-PF members who face the chop include 2 members from the Politburo and 2 from the Central Committee. The list also includes a cabinet minister and a deputy minister.
The members facing expulsion are:

3. Abednego Ncube
4. Never Khanye
5. William Dhewa
6. Reni Kibi
7. Elizabeth Moyo
8. Tambudzani Mohadi
9. Obedingwa Mguni
10. Section Ncube
11. Japhet Dube
12. Mthandazo Sibanda
13. Cecilia Ndubiwa
14. Qajiwe Mpande
15. Sifinini Rona Moyo
Other provinces are also likely to purge officials linked to Mnangagwa’s Team Lacoste Faction.
