Met Dept Warns Of High Temperatures

In a statement released yesterday, the Meteorological Services Department (MSD) warned of high temperatures today and urged the public to avoid direct sunlight as much as possible.

The statement reads:

Accordingly, tomorrow 29 December 2017, we in as far as high temperatures are concerned, therefore, urge the public to take measures such as avoiding direct sunlight as much as possible, wearing wide brimmed hats and the use of umbrellas and more importantly monitor our daily weather bulletins.

MSD however said isolated showers could not be ruled out due to remnant moisture, especially in Mashonaland West and Mashonaland Central provinces.
