Mnangagwa Returns From Overseas Trips

President Emmerson Mnangagwa is set to return home today after visiting Switzerland and Ethiopia.
Mnangagwa was in Davos, Switzerland for the World Economic Forum before he jetted to Addis Ababa in Ethiopia for the 30th African Union Summit. While in Ethiopia Mnangagwa appraised his African counterparts on the developments that saw him ascending to power. He also reassured them of former President Robert Mugabe’s safety and said that he will preserve the nonagenarian’s legacy.
In Switzerland, Mnangagwa held several meetings with high profile business people including meeting the managing director of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) Christine Lagarde. Mnangagwa also had an interview where he refused to apologise for the Gukurahundi atrocities.
