Temba Mliswa Tried To Extort Money From Me, I Gave Him 200 Stands: Ozias Bvute

In an interview on Capitalk FM with Ruvheneko Parirenyatwa, Zanu-PF member Ozias Bvute said Norton legislator Temba Mliswa tried to extort money from him. Bvute goes on to mention that Mliswa has extorted money from numerous people in Zimbabwe by scaring them.

He added that he assisted Mliswa with his father’s medical bills and has bailed him out a number of time. Said Bvute:

Our relationship fell apart when I refused to give him money. I refused to be extorted Ruvheneko. You rightfully said right at the beginning that I have gotten to a point where I stand by the truth that I know and I will tell you the truth based on what I think is right and proper. The truth is he was trying to extort money from me. He has extorted money from several people in this country by trying to scare them. I’m not scared, I won’t be cowed into a corner by Twitter comments that he makes on the basis that I must rush to him to discuss issues such that they are not in the public domain. Let them be in the public domain, I have nothing to hide. I’m clear. Furthermore Ruvheneko, I know commrade Phillip Chiyangwa wherever he may be was at some stage a conduit for actually saying ‘Ozias Temba needs $10 000. I’m sitting with him at my house. Can you help him?’

Bvute said he has WhatsApp messages as evidence of this. He also said he gave Mliswa 200 stands in Crowhill when his uncle Didymus Mutasa was minister of lands. Bvute said he gave Mliswa the stands such that he will not be pestered over the issue. When asked how he was able to give Mliswa 200 stands, Bvute disclosed he owns 4 000 stands.
