There was chaos in Harare’s central business district on Thursday as resisted efforts to evict them. The government ordered the eviction of all vendors due to the cholera outbreak which has already claimed at least 32 lives and has been declared a state of emergency by the government. The vendors threw stones at the police who retaliated by using tear gas.
