The National Blood Service Zimbabwe has assured the nation that it has enough blood in stock to cater for the upcoming festive season. NBSZ has mobile teams that move around the country collecting blood donations. The unavailability of fuel in the past several weeks had threatened to hamper the organisation’s efforts. NBSZ public affairs manager Ester Masunda has this to say
The issue of fuel shortages has since improved. We have engaged the relevant authorities at a high level to make sure we do not have any challenges in stocking for the festive season.
