Good Evening. This is quite a difficult time for our nation which is in mourning over the loss of our icon Dr Oliver Mtukudzi. The following is the funeral programme starting today:
Friday 25.01.2018
17:00 Body departs Nyaradzo Willowvale Funeral Parlor for Norton Knowe
18:00 Body arrives at the Mtukudzi Homestead in Norton to lie in state
Saturday 26.01.2019
08:00 Body leaves Home to Pakare Paya Arts Centre
09:00 Church service begin
12:00 Church service ends
12:00 Funeral procession departs for National Sports Stadium
12:30 Arrival at the National Sports Stadium Musical Performances by various groups
15:00 Hearse Departs for One Commando barracks
15:30 Helicopters take off for Madziwa
16:00 Arrival in Madziwa Body lies in state
Sunday 27.01.19
14:00 Burial Madziwa
30 buses for Harare — these will depart for Madziva on Sunday
5 buses for Mashonaland West
5 buses for Mashonaland Central, and
1 bus each for the other Provinces.
2 buses have been availed for the family.
Tomorrow, 26 January 2019, a church service will be held at Pakare Paye at 9am. Body viewing will also be held there. The National Arts Council in conjunction with other stakeholders has organized a concert in honour of our late National Hero which will be held tomorrow at the National Sports Stadium.
