A Marondera primary school teacher has appeared in court for allegedly fondling the breasts of a six-year-old pupil.
The teacher who is 48, denied the charge when he appeared before magistrate Arnold Maburo who postponed the matter to February 11 for the continuation of trial.
It is alleged that in September 2018, around 4 pm, the teacher instructed the girl to get into a storeroom to pack some bread. The girl obliged whereupon the teacher followed and pounced on her.
The juvenile later informed her friends about the incident before telling her parents. She was escorted by her parents to file a police report.
