President Emmerson Mnangagwa on Wednesday launched fixed telecommunications service provider, TelOne’s US$7 million optic fibre link with South Africa.
Speaking after the launch in the border town, Mnangagwa said:
The new national fibre optic link in Beitbridge will help connect Zimbabweans and move us from a landlocked to a linked land country.
We refuse to remain behind in terms of modernisation and are committed to building the infrastructure required for a modern and successful economy.
