US Extends Condolences To People Affected By Cyclone Idai

The United of America has extended its condolences following the deaths of 89 people in Manicaland, Mashonaland East and Masvingo Provinces due to tropical cyclone Idai. In a message posted on its Twitter page, the United States embassy in Harare said:

We send sincere condolences to all the people affected by #CycloneIdai. Our hearts go out to those who have lost loved ones, property, and livelihoods. We are following up with our partners who are on the ground. #WeStandWithZim
