MDC president Nelson Chamisa has continued his reengagement efforts with leaders from other countries as well as diplomats posted to Zimbabwe.
Chamisa met with the Swedish ambassador on Friday, having met Nigeria’s former President Olusegun Obasanjo on Thursday, and former Botswana President Seretse Khama Ian Khama recently. Writing on Twitter, Chamisa said:
ENCOURAGED by the engagement with the Ambassador of Sweden to Zimbabwe, Her Excellency, Sofia Calltorp this day. Sweden has always been a great friend pre and post-independence. We continue to strengthen our ties based on values of good governance, democracy and sound economics.
