Dubai Sends More Aid For Idai Survivors

Dubai’s International Humanitarian City (IHC) has sent another plane-load to deliver humanitarian aid made available by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.

The goods, which include jerry cans, mosquito nets, mats, blankets, tents, buckets, kitchen sets, solar lamps, and vehicles have been availed through the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) to help survivors of Tropical Cyclone Idai.

The IHC Has reportedly airlifted about 550 metric tonnes of relief items to date. It has not only assisted Zimbabwe but Mozambique and Malawi, the other two countries that were devastated by Cyclone Idai.
