Controversial businessman Wicknell Chivhayo has warned Zanu PF Deputy Secretary for Youth Lewis Matutu that he is complicating things for himself and the party by his list of corrupt Zanu PF and business officials.
His remarks come after Matutu and the ZANU PF youth league released a list of people allegedly sabotaging president Mnangagwa’s efforts to revive the economy by engaging in underhand dealings including illegal foreign currency dealings and other forms of corruption.
Chivhayo posted on the microblogging site, Twitter questioning where Matutu was getting the bravery to do such a thing. He tweeted:
It therefore creates a lot of unnecessary confusion and speculation of infighting within our PRESIDIUM. In my view if you can’t respect the appointing authority to such powerful offices (some in the executive) YOUR FUTURE on that position and even in the party is BLEAK…

Matutu has, as a result of the list, been earned a backlash from the implicated people including RBZ governor, John Mangudya who is demanding retractions and ZW$ 1 Million for extortion. He also clashed with fellow politburo member, Justice Mayor Wadyajena who told him to first clear his name of corruption allegations.
Meanwhile, the war veterans have come out supporting him.
