Zimbabwe national Netball Team, The Gems have won their fifth World Cup match against Barbados with 66 goals to 41. This win puts them closer to progressing to the next level of the tournament.
They now have to beat Malawi on Thursday to qualify for top 8 spot.
Zimbabwe Coach, Loyd Makunde, told reporters after the game that the future looked bright. He said:
I was so confident that we were going to win (against Barbados) … I can say were are raising our game and we are going to be one of the big guns a few years to come … We now know that everyone is beatable and anything can happen in the World Cup.
Zimbabwe now has three wins and two losses in five matches at the tournament.
