Outspoken Ntabazinduna Chief Nhanhayamangwe Ndiweni was referred to community service assessment this afternoon. Chief Ndiweni was convicted yesterday and spent the night at Khami Prison.
The sentencing was supposed to take place in the morning but the court delayed till now.
Chief Ndiweni and his 23 subjects are facing charges of destroying one of his subjects’ property. He has, however, maintained that the charged are emanating from a political war since he revealed that one Zanu PF bigwig stole his father’s cattle.
