A Hip Hop event to be hosted every Saturday will debut in Harare next weekend The Daily News reports. The event will seek to give the mic in support of local hip hop rappers and upcoming artists. Mugovera WeHip Hop founder Innocent Tawanda Christmas spoke to the Daily News and said:
This initiative was inspired by other hip-hop events that happen across the continent. Our show will always be open to everyone including hip-hop lovers, hip-hop rappers and hip-hop dancers too. In the near future we are hoping to see the event growing and we are hop- ing to open a big promotional studio
The organisers said they will be consistent in bringing the show to the public every Saturday.
