"Govt Taking Necessary Measures To Address The Health Sector Crisis" - CABINET
The Cabinet of Zimbabwe has assured members of the public that the government was necessary steps to ensure that the situation returns to normal.
The assurance came after Cabinet was informed by the Minister of Health and Child Care that health caregivers in public hospitals were on industrial action for over 63 days now.
Moyo also revealed that of the 80 doctors charged who snubbed the disciplinary hearing, 77 were found guilty and discharged.
Workers are demanding salaries pegged in United States dollars paid in the local currency at the interbank rate.
Meanwhile, the government is saying that it is currently incapacitated to review workers’ salaries since the budget cycle was coming to an end.
