VP Chiwenga Says He's Now Very Fit To Resume His Duties
Vice President Retired General Constantino Chiwenga says he is now very fit to join others in government in the work to build the nation.
He said this while speaking to reporters in the wee hours of Saturday morning soon after he touched down at the Robert Mugabe International airport.
VP Chiwenga arrived back home around 02:30 this Saturday morning and was received by the Chinese Deputy Ambassador to Zimbabwe Mr Zhao Baogang and some government officials.
He expressed gratitude to President Emmerson Mnangagwa for facilitating his treatment in China.
Chiwenga had been in China for the past four months where he had been receiving treatment for an undisclosed ailment.
