Zimbabwean Artist, Hillzy, Wins At All Africa Music Awards

Zimbabwean musician Hillzy has won a award in the prestigious All Africa Music Awards (AFRIMA) held in Nigeria yesterday.

Hillzy won in the ‘Best Artiste, Duo or Group in African RnB and Soul’ category for his song TV Room which features Garry Mapanzure.

Other artists in the category included Nigeria’s Davido (featuring Chris Brown), Tellaman & Nasty C, Sarz and others.

Hillzy celebrated the award with a tweet:

Dear Zimbabwe & the World At Large, everything is possible in HIS name right? they are probably shook because they didn’t vote or didn’t believe right? I am mighty speechless right now at the love you gave

The AFRIMA Awards were established 2014 and by the International Committee of AFRIMA and the African Union to  reward and celebrate musical works, talents and creativity around the African continent while promoting the African cultural heritage.
