An article in The Herald contains some Zupco statistics.
Here are some of the stats:
- The state owned company now has 500 conventional buses and 383 kombis on the road. The constitute its own and the franchise ones.
- 500, 000 urban passengers a day, according to the stats these are one-way trips on a single route.
- The company moves 100, 000 passengers per day on one-way trips between cities.
Zupco started operating at a wider and visible scale following the January 2019 fuel riots.
