"You’re A PC, Huuyai Paground," Mliswa Urges Kasukuwere To Come To Zimbabwe

Norton legislator, Temba Mliswa has urged exiled former ZANU PF Political Commissar, Saviour Kasukuwere to come back to Zimbabwe if he was serious about starting a political party.

His remarks come after a new party, ZANU PF Original recently notified the Zimbabwe Electoral Commission (ZEC) of its existence through a letter authored by and signed by one Timothy Chimusoro, who is the National Coordinator of the party.

The party is believed to be headed by Kasukuwere who has recently declared his interest to run for president in the 2023 elections saying that he had his popularity in the country and region as a competitive advantage.

Posting on Twitter, Mliswa said that social media and the real ground where the real electorate was are two different platforms. He posted:

Sekuru @Hon_Kasukuwere I see there was a flurry of activity in Bulawayo yesterday..but how do you launch a Party in your absence? When you’re here on the ground mobilising people we can start talking but for now it’s just social media. We know people get paid to wear t-shirts

You’re a PC, huuyai paground. Hazvivhundutse izvi….. (come to the ground. it’s not scary…).

It is not clear what is meant by “PC” as it can be “People’s Choice” as Kasukuwere’s campaign is dubbed “Tyson Wabantu. It also can be “Political Commissar” or anything.
