The newest kid on the block, Bulawayo based afro-fusion band Ngoma Ingoma will perform at this year’s Vic Falls Carnival, the Chronicle reports.
Speaking to the publication about their impending performance the band’s spokesperson Blessings Sitotombe said:
We reached out to Carnival organisers after we got a contact from someone who attended the Harare Jazz Festival and was impressed by our act. The Carnival guys also loved our sound and gave us a slot for this year’s edition.
The band was formed in 2019, and has so far been nominated for the SKYZ Metro FM awards and also performed at Harare Jazz Music festival in October. Djembe Monks will also perform at the event.
