"Zimbabwe Is A Diverse But Unitary State, Ngavamuke Vabike Doro" ED Speaks On Secession

President Emmerson Mnangagwa has, during the ZANU PF’s 18th Annual People’s Conference underway in Goromonzi, Mashonaland East said that Zimbabwe will never be split. He said:

Cdes whether we like it or not, whether we pray or not the sun will rise and fall.

Zimbabwe is a diverse but unitary state. Those who dream of a divided state, ngavamuke vabike doro. Midzimu yavarasha

His remarks come when the Mthwakazi group and other aggrieved Zimbabweans in Matebeleland and some parts of Midlands have been calling for the split of Zimbabwe into two states, Zimbabwe and Mthwakazi.

Those who are pushing for the split of the country argue that the country’s leadership is developing mainly Mashonaland at the expense of other regions when resources would have been taken from all regions.
