Anti VUZU Parties Fun Walk And Concert Held In Bulawayo

The City of Kings this week held an anti-VUZU parties concert to try and discourage the youngsters from being part of the VUZU parties that have headlined for the wrong reasons The Chronicle reports.

According to the publication, the concert was held at Large City Hall Car park on Thursday and mainly school going children attended the concert. Artists like  Novuyo Seagirl, CalVin  Bhadilah,Western Khazins, Slow Poison, Rava, Fish, Msizkay, The Kartelz and Prof the Maze provided entertainment.

The Funwalk was then held on Friday in Old Magwegwe at Marisha Shopping Centre, and the children were treated to some Gqom, House, Imbumbe music the dancing sensation The Virus entertained the youngsters who attended the walk.

National AIDS council Bulawayo Province’s Sinatra Nyathi spoke about the events to the publication and said:

This is a healthy vuzu party where we are preaching the need to stop alcohol and drug abuse by our future generation
