3 Day Comedy Festival To Debut In Zimbabwe In August

A 3-day comedy festival is on the cards, The Standard reports. The Sekerera Harare International Festival will debut in Zimbabwe in August and it will feature both local and international comedians.
According to the publication, the event is being organised by SA based Zimbabwean promotion company Xtratime Entertainment and these comedians will perform:
The festival will feature multi-award-winning Ugandan comedienne Anne Kansiime, South Africa-based Zimbabwean comic Baba Tencen of Kuripwa Kugara fame and South African comedians Barry Hilton, John Vlismas as well as Goliath and Goliath.
FeedbackAward-winning comedian Long John, who recently won the Steve Harvey Stand Up Spotlight competition, US-based Zimbabwean comic Alfred Kainga and local comedians Farhan Esat, Q Dube, Tinaye, Carl Joshua Ncube, Gonyeti and Doc Vikela will be part of the three-day comedy fiesta.
The festival will provisionally take place between 7 and 9 August.
