The Zimbabwean Girl Who Was Murdered And Her Body Burnt In Namibia Identified
The Police In Namibia have identified the 9-year-old girl whose body was discovered by a passerby on Saturday, burnt beyond recognition dumped at a dumpster, New Era Live reports.
The girl was identified as Akundaishe Natalie Chipombo and she is believed to have been staying at the same residence with the suspects and 5 other children. According to the publication, Akundaishe might have been a victim of abuse according to neighbours and other people’s accounts.
Namibian top police investigator Nelius Becker spoke about to the publication about the case and said:
According to evidence that we gathered at the scene, the deceased might have been assaulted on occasions in the past and more frequently on the Monday of the 20th January. There was an audible assault on the female child or bigger female child in the residence. This is the reason why we affected the arrests.
