7 Zimbabweans Who Died In The Musina Horrific Accident Identified

South African Police Services spokesperson for Limpopo province Motlafela Mojapelo has identified seven Zimbabweans who died in the Musina, South Africa accident.

The horrific accident which occurred on the South African side of Beitbridge involved a Toyota Fortuner and a truck. Mojapelo identified the victims as follows:

  1. Gilbert Mahonolwa (50),
  2. the driver, Sunday Winston (28),
  3. Morris Tanyanago (62),
  4. Sharon Nyathi (25),
  5. Kudzai Chirengende (24), and
  6. babies Shelther Muzwidziwa (3), and
  7. one-year-old Tanyanago Ngaakudzwe.

News Day reports that the deceased who were from Chiredzi in the Lowveld were aboard the Toyota Fortuner which on Sunday night rammed into the side of a truck on the N1 between Musina and Beitbridge.

The publication adds that the relatives of the deceased were yet to be located to ascertain repatriation of remains and funeral arrangements.
