An angry mob attacked and killed a 16-year-old boy who was suspected to have stolen 83 bottles of can spirits and a packet of Zapnax, Bulawayo24 reports.
According to the publication, Onismo Muzika died on the spot and his friend and accomplice George Chaurika. is battling for his life at Guruve Hospital after they broke into Monica Kondo’s store and stole can spirits and a packet of Zapnax.
A woman named Grace Chihota has been arrested for the murder of Mazika. Mashonaland Central police spokesperson Inspector Milton Mundembe confirmed both incidences and said:
I can confirm that we have arrested Chihota in connection with the murder case, three more suspects are at large
We are warning members of the public not to take the law into their own hands as that will land them into trouble when the wrath of law descends on them.
People should shun violence and complanaint should report to the police station for justice to prevail
