According to Team Pachedu and Hopewell Chin’ono, Drax International only registered a domain for their website on 1 April 2020, adding fuel to the stories circulating on social media that the company was not a registered company prior to getting a government contract worth $60 million.
Drax is in the middle of what the media is calling the COVIDgate scandal in which the company had a contract to supply COVID-19 materials. It emerged the company inflated the price of the materials it was supplying the government which resulted in the government cancelling the contract unless they review their prices downwards.

ZACC is ignoring the corruption and lack of due diligence while public funds are being looted through these non-existent companies.
Journalist Hopewell Chin’ono reiterated the same thing in a Tweet which said:
The company website for Drax International, the FAKE company used by Mnangagwa’s associates to LOOT the State through Covid-19 procurement was ONLY registered on the 1st of April, after it had started business with the regime. It got a US$60m contract!
