African Sun Re-Opens Some Hotels

Hotelier African Sun has reopened some of their hotels as the country continues to sail through lockdown level 2, New Zimbabwe reports.

A statement by the group released yesterday said the main aim behind their reopening was to save their business until travelling resumes:

Taking into account the global trends, management expects international business to gradually resume starting from July as airlines rebuild their networks.

The group implemented various health and safety measures as guided by World Health Organisation, Inter-Continental Hotels Group and government at its hotels.

The hotel giant closed its 11 Hotels and 2 casinos when the lockdown started on 30 March and it opened its doors yesterday.
