PICTURES: Govt Bought Rapid Response Test Kits For $14.75 When They Can Be Bought Elsewhere For $2.50 - Chin'ono

Journalist Hopewell Chin’ono has posted the following pictures and he claims they are proof that the government is paying $14.75 for rapid response test kits when they can be bought from other suppliers for $2.50. Chin’ono further claims the company selling the RR Test Kits is owned by President Mnangagwa’s nephew and his bodyguard.

Here are the pictures of the transaction which Hopewell Captioned:

I want Zimbabweans to tell me how YOU really feel about this! This is REAL. Mnangagwa’s regime is paying US$14.75 for something that costs US$2.50 to a company allegedly owned by Mnangagwa’s bodyguard& nephew. Does this mean paying officer @GGuvamatanga is incompetent or corrupt?

This comes a few short days after the COVID-Gate scandal headlined in which the President’s son was roped into the scandal that involved a company called Drax International. Drax reportedly started supplying NatPham with drugs in September but only registered a domain for their website on 1 April 2020 fueling rumours that it was not a registered company but a way used to syphon money from the government.
