The president today met with Presidential Advisory Council Members to discuss the state of the economy in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic. The development was posted on Twitter by his Press Secretary George Charamba who said:
HAPPENING NOW: The Presidential Advisory Council is meeting His Excellency the President at State House on the State of the Economy in the wake of Covid-19 global pandemic which has also hit Zimbabwe and its economy. Ten PAC members are led by PAC chairman, Edwin Manikai
Charamba also posted photos of the meeting. Meanwhile, one of the PAC members Dr Shingi Munyeza has been criticizing the government and President Mnangagwa’s administration as the economy takes a turn for the worst.
